Schwimmen tut gut & gibt ne super Laune.

Heute zum ersten Mal das Schwimmbad vor Ort besucht. Irgendwie gefällt es mir. Trotz seiner Geschichte. Trotz der Kurzbahn. & trotz dieser unsäglichen Schlüsselbändel die sich beim Schwimmen von selber lösen. Aber die Atmosphäre war gut. Nicht ganz so angestrengt wie in Zürich, & es ist hell, mit grossen Fenstern, ebenerdig gelegen.

Und gestern abend gabs Yoga. Eine halbe Stunde vor dem Zubettgehen. Tut so gut. Vor allem meinem verspannungsgeplagten Rücken. Plötzlich wird alles warm & weich & biegsam & die Zellen lebendiger. Herrlich. Will schauen, wie ich diese Abendsessions regelmässiger in mein Leben einbauen kann. Mit relativ kleinem Aufwand grosse Wirkung erzielen. Entspricht eigentlich ganz meinen Vorstellungen. Wenn nur, nun ja, wenn nur nicht alle diese anderen Dinge wäre, die ich auch gerne mache & die halt bei Vollzeitarbeit auf die Abendstunden fallen.

Diesmal wars geschüttelt & gerührt.

Wir bleiben ruhig & gefasst.

Geht alles vorbei.

Eins ist sicher: es kommt alles wie es muss. Geht nicht anders.

Spiders Showing Up

The first sighting of a spider I had two days ago when I sat down in the evening to do some spinning in my crafts room. There it was, precisely in the corner. I wondered from where it had come. And whether this was the announcement of an invasion of those eight-legged creatures for this year’s summer - to which I would actually have to veto. I am not afraid of them and they do not scare me, but, well, too much is too much, specially when it comes to cleaning and getting done with spider webs.

This morning when entering the office, there was the second one dangling outside the window from the corner. Hm. Second one. Is there going to be a third one, too?

Acting in the moment

Yesterday evening the doorbell rang. When I opened the door, I found two teenage girls standing outside, selling tiny fiber creatures stuffed with something rather heavy, probably sand, for an international aid organization. I wasn’t really in the mood of buying anything but as I spotted an interesting color in the box with the creatures, I acted absolutely mechanically, went for my purse and got back to check the animals. The bright blue color belonged to a dolphin-like fish. And so, I asked it in and gave the money to the two girls.

Sometimes, you find a twinkle where you did not expect it.

Don’t worry, be happy

This morning I have an electrician in my apartment. Finally, I shall get some proper lights again in the kitchen and in the entrance. As he starts working, he starts singing and whistling. It makes me smile. Somebody who is happy with what he’s doing. And that’s great.

Good News on Tuesday

Getting back to the office, I find an e-mail waiting for me in the office’s inbox. One sentence catches my eyes:

You are a blessed person.

It makes me laugh so much. The rest of the e-mail is rubbish, spam-mail rubbish, but this sentence sticks. And puts a smile on my face. Should one ask for more?

weekend

The weekend was - so good. I just sunk into the moment and let it be. Most relaxing thing you can do, I found.

Unfortunately, it’s all over again and I’ve got to do my job and fulfill my duties and that’s that.

Wunsch und Wirklichkeit

Heute morgen hätte ich gerne einen Kaffee zum Mitnehmen am Bahnhof gekauft. Doch da kam dieser kleine Fakt dazwischen, dass ich gestern Abend meinen Geldbeutel aus meiner Handtasche herausgenommen und offenbar nicht wieder zurückgesteckt habe. Was so viel heisst wie: ohne Geld kein Kaffee.

Gestern übrigens war es der Arbeitskollege, dem genau dasselbe Missgeschick widerfuhr.

Sollte mir dies nun zu denken geben?

Jogging

And after jogging there is this body that is so warm, heating from inside out. It nearly feels as good as jogging itself.

So far, I got it done: to go for a jogging round twice a week. The only exception is the weekend I travelled, but that’s I’d say okay.

Spontaneity

This morning, I decided to go for a check on our mail box impulsively. When I get downstairs, I find a woman before the entrance door, wearing a huge board with a model of some buildings on it. So, it’s me to keep open the door for her.

In the afternoon I leave the office another time, a woman is walking downstairs, apparently leaving for the weekend. She says good-bye and wishes me a pleasant one. The memory of it still makes me smile. This one was a pleasant one. Really.
